Diane Moudy
Vice President of Grace Over Disaster
Diane is a lifelong servant of others, whose mission has always been about love—not recognition, and never about money. As Co-Founder of Grace Over Disaster, Diane brings decades of experience in event production, heartfelt philanthropy, and grassroots outreach to the ministry’s mission of delivering hope, joy, and real help to those in crisis.
Based in Vail, Colorado, Diane has produced and booked over 2,000 live events across the U.S. and Mexico. But her work has never been limited to the stage. Her calling has always been to put smiles on people’s faces—from feeding the homeless in Denver, to filling wool socks with candy and singing carols to the unhoused on Christmas Day, to rallying touring musicians and fans to share warmth and joy with strangers in need. She calls it “light and love”—and it’s the driving force behind everything she does.
During the darkest days of the pandemic, when the live event world came to a halt, Diane helped lead efforts to bring music and healing back to people’s lives—producing safe, small concerts multiple times a day in empty theaters so that bands could play and hearts could be lifted. Those moments, and the tears they brought, have never left her.
Earlier in her journey, Diane co-founded Vail Operation Donation with her children, creating a local-to-urban bridge of compassion that grew from a few bins in local schools into a massive, community-wide outpouring of coats, clothes, and dignity for the unhoused in Denver. Every Christmas morning, they and a growing band of volunteers—“the Orphans”—would distribute clothing, food, and care to thousands, holding joyful contests like the “Cosby Sweater Showdown” and reminding each person that everyone deserves a Christmas stocking. And more importantly, everyone deserves love.
Diane’s legacy is one of radiant faith, fearless generosity, and hands-on service. Through Grace Over Disaster, she continues to show up with joy, meet people where they are, and answer the Gospel call to love one another deeply, from the heart.
